FAQS FOR GEELONG’S BEST LUXE ACCOMMODATION

Guests are invited to check in at 1400hrs and check-out is at 1000hrs. If you require an early check-in or late check-out please ensure you make the request at the time of booking. An additional surcharge may apply.
Our luxury Geelong accommodation is perfectly equipped to accommodate up to 8-10 guests. Our smaller studio and apartment rooms are perfect for one or two guests needing a more intimate space to retreat.

If you are booking a studio or apartment stay, you will not be able to access the Suite. 

When you book the 94 Timber Door Suite stay with Timber Door on Gheringhap, you have complete private access to the entire residence. No other guests will be accessing the pool, atrium or any area of the three-level complex. There may be other guests in the studio and apartment rooms next door. These all have their own private access and will not impede your privacy.

The Suite has multiple communal areas to share with your own guests. This is not open to others who may be staying in the studio or apartment rooms next door. Your complete privacy is our priority.

Yes, all of our rooms offer a stable internet connection and Wifi.

Geelong also has an extensive public transport network comprised of buses and trains. The Geelong Railway Station has lines that will get you to and from the following locations: 

  • Waurn Ponds, Marshall and South Geelong 
  • North Geelong, North Shore, Corio and Lara 
  • Melbourne and Werribee 
  • The Great Ocean Road  
  • Warrnambool, Port Fairy and Mount Gambier 
  • Bannockburn, Meredith, Buninyong and Ballarat 

*All bus and train travel across Geelong will require a MyKi card. *Geelong’s train service is operated by V/Line, with regular services between Geelong and Melbourne. There are also daily services between Geelong and Warrnambool. 

The main terminal for buses is at the Geelong Railway Station and the Moorabool Street Bus Interchange, between Ryrie Street and Malop Street.

Airport transfers are available via www.gull.com.au 

From Tullamarine there is a great transfer service direct from the airport 

Drops off just abound the corner from the property in McKillop Street- 2-3 win walk from Timber Door on Gheringhap. e Greater Geelong community. 

Use an open ticket or manage your booking online. 

Simply register an account, log in and use your booking number to book a ticket on a date that suits you. 

One car park space is available per room/booking. This is at the rear of the building. Enter via Myers Street.

The pool is located on the top floor of the residence and is only available for guests who book the suite.

All linen is provided. Please bring beach towels if required. 

Yes, unlike other Geelong luxury accommodations, our space is actually perfectly set up for corporate group bookings or intimate wellness retreats of 8-10 people maximum. With external access to the kitchen, you can organise catering and use the space respectfully as you need. 

Yes, with designed spaces for coworking, entertaining, relaxing and presentations our venue is fully equipped for corporate functions and retreats. We offer free wifi, a TV to use for casting and speaker system.

You can find all you need at the local shopping precinct just 950m away, approximately a 10-minute walk. 

Head to the stunning Geelong waterfront 1.8km away, just a 22-minute walk from the residence.  

To preserve the quality and cleanliness of our luxury space, we do not allow pets on the premises at this time. Thank you for your understanding. 

At Timber Door, every room is curated for the refined lifestyle. Our accommodation is not suitable to accommodate children. Thank you for your understanding. 

Although we do not have cooked bed and breakfast options available at this time, we do offer beautiful bundles of local foods and artisanal treats. You can view the selection here.
